medicinal herbal tea | Sometimes known in China as 廣東涼茶 because of its Cantonese origins

The original name was 苦茶. But Cantonese avoid the use of the original name because 苦 means "bitter”, which is considered as inauspicious. So 涼, which means "cool, refreshing" is chosen to replace 苦.
