anchovy. (So far I have only seen this term quoted in Malaysia and Singapore sources - written and spoken, but it IS very common a term in these countries. I do not know the equivalent term outside SE Asia but AltaVista's Babel Fish gives "Anchovy" as 鯷魚) Level: 3 Google Frequency: 2,010 This term is used in both Cantonese and Mandarin/Standard written Chinese. |
