Gwe Diao (or Koay Teow) is a type of rice noodle, similar to 沙河粉, but not as broad or thin, originating from the Minnan (Shantou) area Sometimes written as 貴刁 [gwai3 diu1], being influenced by the original pronunciation of 粿條 [gwe5 diao1] in Chiuchow dialect.
