the three jewels (Buddha, dharma, sangha) or three treasures of Buddhism; Sambo (transliterated) "Sambo" is almost always used to indicate the three treasures of Buddhism, though occasionally it can be found to be used in an archaic capacity referring to people of African descent such as in "The Story of Little Black Sambo (小黑三寶的故事)".
