be a spendthrift; big spender; spend money like water; squander money [literal] wash feet without wiping them 洗腳唔抹腳 is a two-part allegorical saying that has 亂咁揈 as the hidden part. It is supposed that if one does not wipe the feet after having them washed, one would carelessly shake the feet in order to remove the water. The word 揈 has the double meanings of "shake" and "squander (money)".
