Merging the initial /n/ to /l/ (e.g. 你 pronounced as /lei5/)
Omission of the initial /ng/ (e.g. 我 as /o5/)
Merging the intials /gw/ and /kw/ to /g/ and /k/ respectively when before /o/ (e.g. 國 as /gok3/)
Merging the coda /ng/ to /n/ when after the nuclei /aa/, /a/, and /o/. (e.g. 講 as /gon2/)
Merging the coda /k/ to /t/. (e.g. 北 as /bat1/)
Merging the syllabic nasal /ng/ to /m/. (e.g. 吾 as /m4/)
