Old Age Allowance (commonly known as 'fruit money' 生果金 in HK) This allowance is viewed as a token of appreciation for the elderly people aged 70 or above. It is different from the Old Age Living Allowance which is intended to help the elderly people who are 65 or above and are in need of financial support.
