sweating profusely, usually while undertaking laborious manual work [lit] drenched in layers of big beads of sweat over small beads of sweat While this expression can stand alone as a separate idiom, it is also the second part of a 歇後語 which has 鐵木真打仔 as the first part. The word pun comes from the verb 沓 [daap6] which sounds close to 𢱕 [dap6], meaning 打 'beat'.
