Queensway is a major road in Admiralty District, Central, Hong Kong. It merges with Queen's Road Central (皇后大道中) and Des Voeux Road Central (德輔道中) at its west end and connects with Hennessy Road (軒尼詩道) and Queen's Road East (皇后大道東) to the east at its east end. Its Chinese name can be transliterated as "Admiralty" or "Golden Bell" Road, a reference to a golden bell in the Admiralty Dockyard situated there, now redeveloped. It was originally a section of Queen's Road East before the Hong Kong Government separated and renamed it as its present name in 1967.
Default PoS: Additional PoS: Level: 3 This term is used in both Cantonese and Mandarin/Standard written Chinese. |
