(1) 物量詞 is one of two types of 名量詞, the other type being 數量詞.
(2) 物量詞 is strictly known as 類詞 but more broadly known as 量詞 because 物量詞 is the most common type of measure words. It is used to 'classify' the various sorts of objects (hence the name 'classifier') according to their shape, size, function, etc. Notable examples are 支, 條,件, 張, 粒, and many others.
