refers to a person making many useless, undesirable, or off-topic comments in an online message forum making it virtually unreadable to follow the message thread. The word comes from a mistyped reference to overlay advertisements for 洗皮 (skin wash) which cover the entire screen. This is a Cangjie "pun" on 洗皮 in that 皮 and 板 share the same Cangjie code (DHE: 木竹水) and a mistyped reference to 皮 became 板 and the word stuck, probably because message boards are involved and it was judged as comedic.
