Old Age Living Allowance This subsidy is intended to help the elderly people who are aged 65 or above and are in need of financial support. It is different from the Old Age Allowance ('fruit money') which is viewed as a token of appreciation for the elderly people who are aged 70 or above and do not need financial support.
