Des Voeux Road Central runs east from Sai Wan/Western (西環) to Central (中環). It begins at the intersection with Morrison Street (摩利臣街) in Western and merges with Queen's Road Central (皇后大道中) where it becomes Queensway (金鐘道) and later Hennessy Road (軒尼詩道). Des Voeux Road Central and Des Voeux Road West are two roads on the north shore of the Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong. They were named after the 10th Governor of Hong Kong, Sir George William Des Vœux (德輔).
