波羅雞

sponger; to sponge off one's friends; to grab petty benefits at the expense of other people (usually a free meal) 波羅雞 is the first part of a 歇後語 that has 靠黐 as the hidden part. 波羅雞 are paper hens made in Bolo Temple (波羅廟), Guangzhou, that need to use paste to glue the paper, i.e. 靠黐. But 靠黐 can also refer to someone who sponges off one's friends
