[1] so-so; passable; not so bad | [國] 馬馬虎虎 [2] take a middle course; be in moderation [literal] Mr Hunchback is walking 阿駝行路 is the first part of a two-part allegorical saying that has 舂舂哋 as the second part. A hunchback cannot walk steadily, but in a way as if he would fall on his face any moment, i.e. 舂舂哋. The homophonic pun comes with 舂舂哋 sounding exactly like 中中哋, which means 'so-so; passable'.
