[1] South China Sea -- literally "South Sea", which is what Chinese speakers call this body of water, but the international name is 南中國海 (South China Sea). [2] Namhoi, or Nanhai, a former county adjacent to the city of Guangzhou (Canton). Since 2003, Namhoi has been a city district in the Foshan Municipality.
