㗎喇
This Cantonese final particle phrase may be somewhat generalized to correspond to the idioms "as a matter of fact" or "as a matter of course" in English. It is often used for giving a reminder. Together with 就, they form the structure "就...㗎喇" which means “or else”. On rarer occasions, it works as a simple reminder without 就. Please see: [www.cantonese.sheik.co.uk] for more information about this Cantonese final phrase.
Also please note that 㗎 cannot be easily displayed on some computers, so it is commonly written as 架 instead. |
